There can be so many benefits in having a pet in the family:
- stress reduction ( it always helps me!)
- teaching resepct in animals and how to treat them ( how to deal with other animals in future & not fear them for no reason)
- they say that kids who abuse or kill animals will have the tendancy to be aggresive when they grow up - so I think teaching them to be loving does supress that behaviour.
Red on to find out How to treat dogs properly - with respect.

I think that kids should always be taught these rules:
1) Never TOUCH a dog or its food when its eating
2) Never touch a dog from THE BACK and when its unaware.
3) Parents should always bring the kid to the dog ( new) and introduce so that the dog knows the kid is not a stranger and the kids knows how to treat the dog, fear for no reason is never healthy.
But I am an advocate for kids and animals - although the pain of it all - ALL THE DOG Hairs I have to sweep up, I guess everything has its pros and cons.
