Lurvy Dog

Taken this morning, I thought I'll capture this; although I have missed out on the intial action I wanted - this worked ok too. I just love dogs and seeing my son showering them with the same affection pleases me - kids learn so much from them, how to interact with other animals and show respect to another body.

There can be so many benefits in having a pet in the family:
- stress reduction ( it always helps me!)
- teaching resepct in animals and how to treat them ( how to deal with other animals in future & not fear them for no reason)
- they say that kids who abuse or kill animals will have the tendancy to be aggresive when they grow up - so I think teaching them to be loving does supress that behaviour.

Red on to find out How to treat dogs properly - with respect.

I think that kids should always be taught these rules:
1) Never TOUCH a dog or its food when its eating
2) Never touch a dog from THE BACK and when its unaware.
3) Parents should always bring the kid to the dog ( new) and introduce so that the dog knows the kid is not a stranger and the kids knows how to treat the dog, fear for no reason is never healthy.

But I am an advocate for kids and animals - although the pain of it all - ALL THE DOG Hairs I have to sweep up, I guess everything has its pros and cons.

The Fish Tank

We went to The Fish Tank on Sunday, and have a beautiful meal of blue grenedier & salt & pepper calamari. Yum.....Its located in Brighton - a fair drive from where we live. But a really good afternnoon of good food though.

You get to pick the fish here - and they cook it for you on the spot. We got the grilled fish and they taste so fresh!

There's seafood too - the crayfish monay costs $22 EACH, I think I will give that a miss!

We left filled and satisfied - $7.90 for this plate of salt & pepper calamari but its mouth watering!

Innocence in Kids

Those were the days when you do what an adult tells you to do, pose this, look at that, and the innocence of it all, I find in this picture, thats what the faces tell me. Sweet innocence. It doesnt last long.
